"We love you sisters! We love you brothers!"
While the R2K activists were being held at the Roundhouse jail, they found they could often communicate through the cellblocks by yelling in unison. When there was increased concern among the activists for those in the other cellblocks, activists would yell their half of this chant and wait for a response that things were okay.
Sometimes, this call and response just confirmed that solidarity was holding strong.
